Chinese architecture is one of the main glamour of Chinese civilization. It has been taking shape in over many centuries, serving for imperial families, official sites and commoners as well. It features in emphasis on bilateral symmetry, hierarchical, horizontal emphasis and cosmological concepts. The ancient Chinese architecture was mostly timber framed with colorful and decorative roof.
